1. Purpose and operator
These draft Terms describe the rights and responsibilities of 주식회사 글로벌세미링크 (the Company) and users of Global SemiLink expert search, registration and contact requests. The registered English company name remains to be confirmed. SemiSynapse AI is a project name for the same service.
These Terms are a prelaunch review draft. The effective date and acceptance process are not final. Viewing this page does not itself constitute acceptance or create a paid contract.

2. Definitions and current service
- A user is a person viewing public information or submitting a contact request. A member has an account. An expert is a member applying to register their professional profile.
- A public profile contains information selected for publication. A contact request asks the Company to review a possible introduction to a particular expert.
- Current features are accounts, profile entry and editing, administrative review, approved public-profile search, contact-request intake and private-code progress lookup. PDF upload is available only when enabled.
- Actual consultancy, employment, project work, technology transfer, investment or trade and related fees require separate agreement between the relevant parties. A website contact request does not create those contracts.
3. Eligibility and acceptance
The proposed service is for adult professionals and business contacts acting with appropriate authority. Minimum age, age checks and overseas markets must be confirmed before launch. You must not impersonate another person or represent a company without authority.
An account-registration process must provide the full Terms and obtain affirmative acceptance. Declining required Terms prevents account access but need not prevent permitted public browsing. Privacy information and optional collection, publication and disclosure choices must remain separate.
The Company may request corrections or restrict an application where material false information, rights violations, unlawful conduct or serious security issues are identified. Reasons and a means to challenge the decision should be provided where possible.
4. Account and credential security
Use an email address you control, provide accurate information and keep it current. Keep passwords and private progress codes confidential. Do not sell, lend or share access to your account. Notify the Company promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
The Company must implement appropriate account and access safeguards. You are not automatically responsible for every action through an account regardless of cause; responsibility depends on each party's fault and applicable law.
5. Profile review and publication
Experts must check that their information is accurate and that they are entitled to provide it. Administrative approval is a review step, not official certification or a guarantee of every credential, achievement or skill. Report inaccurate information so it can be corrected.
Publication is intended to require the expert's affirmative choice and administrative review. A publication-consent and withdrawal process is still required in addition to the current approval controls. Education, residence country and detailed employment history may be public, as specified in section 4 of the Privacy Notice.
Do not enter real names, contact details, other people's information or secrets into public text. Changes to a public profile may appear immediately. An operational withdrawal and account-closure process must be ready before these Terms take effect.
6. Search and contact requests
Search ordering and keyword-match percentages assist discovery using public profiles, search terms and filters. They do not decide hiring suitability, certify legal qualifications or guarantee performance or a contract.
The Company reviews submitted requests. A receipt does not mean an expert has accepted, information has been sent, an email has been delivered or a contract has formed. Follow-up depends on the request and the parties' intentions.
Applicable individual disclosure consent must be obtained before personal data is shared with another party. An operator's confirmation alone does not prove consent or actual delivery. No timing or successful introduction is guaranteed, but the Company's express obligations and statutory responsibilities remain.
The private lookup link provides limited status for 90 days after submission. You must save it privately. Its expiry is not deletion of the request; the Privacy Notice sets out the separate retention period.
7. Content ownership and limited permission
Rights in your profile, experience descriptions, resume and other submissions remain with you or their lawful owner. You must have the necessary permission to submit and use the content.
You grant the Company nonexclusive permission to store, copy, convert and display your content only as necessary to provide the registration, review, search, publication and contact support you request. Public display is limited to your authorized scope. Providers acting for the Company are subject to the same purpose limitations and appropriate contracts.
This permission does not include independent resale, unrelated advertising or training external AI models. Use for the relevant purpose ends on closure, deletion or withdrawal, subject only to specifically justified legal retention.
The service's software, design and trademarks belong to the Company or their respective owners. Ordinary permitted use does not authorize unauthorized reproduction, redistribution or infringement of third-party rights.
8. Prohibited conduct and confidential material
Public profiles and general inquiry forms must not be used to exchange confidential technical material. Where collaboration requires a separate confidentiality agreement, the parties should agree on scope and a suitable exchange method first. This does not remove the Company's duty to protect private personal data in its possession.
- Impersonation, false credentials or authority, using another person's account or unauthorized access to private information.
- Unauthorized bulk scraping or resale of profiles and contact data; unrelated spam, harassment, discrimination or unlawful contact.
- Malicious files, exploitation of vulnerabilities or abnormal traffic that disrupts the service.
- Submitting personal data, copyrighted works or trade secrets without authority; sharing unpublished process, design or equipment material or restricted technology.
- Use that violates law or confidentiality, employment or technology-protection duties owed to others.
9. Restrictions and challenges
For unlawful content, rights infringement, false information or security threats, the Company may require correction, remove public access, restrict a feature or close an account where necessary. Scope and duration should be proportionate to the violation, harm and repetition.
Where possible, explain the reason, scope and challenge procedure and allow the affected user to respond before action. Urgent harm prevention or legal constraints may justify action first, followed by notice where permitted. Challenges may be directed to ok.lee@globalsemilink.com; a human review process must be established before launch.
Indefinite restrictions and automatic sanctions are not the default proposal. Where the EU Digital Services Act applies, applicable reporting, reasons and redress requirements must be assessed and implemented.
10. Company responsibilities and privacy
The Company must accurately describe the service and request status, maintain appropriate security and access controls, and reasonably address confirmed errors and complaints.
Collection, publication, disclosure, retention and privacy rights follow the Privacy Notice and any separate notice provided at the relevant time. The content license in these Terms is not a substitute for a lawful basis to process personal data or for required consent.
Mandatory legal rights take precedence over inconsistent provisions in these Terms or a separate agreement.
11. Service changes, interruptions and notices
Maintenance, faults, security needs or reasonable operational grounds may require changes or interruptions. Predictable material changes should be explained in advance with reasons and timing. If urgent faults or security needs prevent advance notice, the Company should restore service and provide later information as appropriate.
General notices may appear on the service. Notices materially affecting a particular user's rights require a verified individual communication method. This does not claim that automated email delivery currently exists.
A planned permanent closure must address recovery of user content, account closure, outstanding requests and personal-data deletion. Statutory liability for harm attributable to the Company is not excluded.
12. Fees and separate contracts
The current website has no checkout, automatic subscription or paid purchase feature. Saving a profile or submitting a contact request alone does not create an agreement to pay a fee.
Any future paid introduction, consultancy or subscription must disclose its scope, total price, taxes, payment, cancellation, termination and refund conditions before a separate agreement is made. Mandatory withdrawal, refund and consumer rights remain; using the current free features does not waive them.
13. Account closure and withdrawal of publication
You may separately request account closure, removal of a public profile or closure of a contact request. The designated address is ok.lee@globalsemilink.com. Identity verification and an actual handling process must be ready before these Terms take effect. There is currently no working instant account-deletion feature in the account area.
Account and profile data must be deleted under the Privacy Notice on termination. Individual request records follow their own purpose, legal basis and retention rules, with the scope of any erasure request assessed separately. Any lawful preservation exception must identify the relevant data, reason and period.
After termination, accrued rights and obligations and provisions necessary for lawful dispute resolution survive only to the extent required for their purpose.
14. Liability
Each party is responsible under applicable law for harm attributable to its own fault. These Terms do not exclude intentional misconduct, gross negligence, the Company's data-protection duties or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Self-reported profiles and independent collaboration outcomes require appropriate judgment and verification. The Company does not promise unexpressed hiring, technical or commercial results, but it does not exclude responsibility for its own information, introduction services or contractual conduct.
For disasters and external outages, responsibility depends on cause, foreseeability, control, response duties and actual fault. The service being free does not create blanket immunity from damages.
15. Changes to these Terms
Amendments should state what changes, why and when. The proposed Company notice periods are at least seven days for ordinary amendments and thirty days for material or adverse amendments. These are proposed contractual periods, not a claim of identical statutory deadlines worldwide. Stricter applicable requirements take precedence.
Where a material change or new processing requires renewed agreement or consent, it must be obtained. Silence or continued use is not treated as a substitute for required consent. Users who decline an amendment may request termination before it takes effect without losing accrued legal rights.
16. Governing law, disputes and languages
The proposed governing law is the law of the Republic of Korea, without depriving overseas users of mandatory protections or applicable consumer rights. Jurisdiction follows applicable law; users are not universally required to sue only at the Company's location.
Disputes and challenges may be sent to the designated contact. Nothing prevents access to courts, regulators or statutory dispute resolution. Any applicable EU consumer dispute-resolution procedure should use the competent body's current arrangements.
The Korean and English texts describe the same service. If wording differs in a way that affects rights, the Company should explain the difference and apply applicable law and the terms validly agreed with the user. A translation difference must not remove mandatory rights.
